Our in stock lace wigs ship out within 2 – 3 business days and can be overnighted if you need it the next day. Our inventory lace wigs are kept at our partner warehouse and will usually be shipped out from us within 2 – 4 weeks. But, if you want to completely design your custom lace wig, our custom lace wigs category will allow you to be as creative as you want and receive your unit within 4 – 6 weeks.

Don't be fooled by the so-called 100% human hair wigs purchased from most local beauty supply stores and throughout the industry.  More often than not this is hair scraps and not Remy hair from a single donor.  This inferior quality hair is derived by gathering the hair scraps from the brushes and combs of hundreds of thousands of women.  This results in a bundle of hair of different lengths, thinkness and color, which usually contains balls of yarn and other matter.  To remove the unwanted matter, the hair cuticle is then stripped using harsh acid based chemicals and then coated with a silicone solvent to give it a temporary luster.  However, after a few weeks of wear, this inferior hair loses it's luster as it begins to matte and tangle.  You typically must purchase this type of inferior quality hair every 1 - 2 months.  Therefore, you end up spending more over the course of a year for hair scraps than simply purchasing a 100% Remy lace wig from Platinum Wigs.
