Platinum Return Policy

No Restocking Fees on In Stock Lace Wigs!

Platinum Wigs offers a no hassle return policy on our wigs.  If for any reason you are not 100% completely satisfied with your purchase, return it for a refund. We do not offer refunds on accessories, closeout items, clearance items, or discontinued items.  We do not charge a restocking fee on in stock lace wigs.  However, we do charge restocking fees for returning inventory lace wigs.  Returns where no error in the order was made by Platinum Wigs are subject to a 25% restocking fee for inventory wigs, custom wigs and orders exceeding $200. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.

If you received a defective item or you have received the incorrect item, we will be more than happy to exchange the item for the item that was originally purchased. Simply log into our Help Desk system to request the exchange. However, if you would like to exchange an item for any other reason, please request a refund for your original purchase using our Help Desk system to return the item and place a new order for the item you'd like to purchase.

*Please allow 14 business days once we have received your return to issue your refund. Also, please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit is applied for it to post to your account.


 

In order to request a refund or an exchange, you must submit a request for a return authorization number within 3 days of receiving the product via our Help Desk system.  The time that the order was signed for is considered the time the order was received.  If you return an item without a return authorization number, you will be subject to a $25 service fee if we accept the returned unit.  Your return must be received by us within 7 business days from the date your return authorization number is issued. Please request delivery confirmation and insure all returns as Platinum Wigs is not liable for lost or damaged packages being returned. The product has to be returned in its original state with no alterations made to include the following:

  • Wig cannot be tried on without a wig cap
  • Wig cannot be worn
  • Wig must be returned in the original packaging
  • Wig lace cannot be cut, torn, dyed or altered in any manner
  • Wig cannot contain any tape, glue or residue
  • Wig cannot contain any chemicals, dyes, or other hair products
  • Wig cannot be styled
  • Wig's hair cannot be cut
  • Wig cannot be washed or conditioned

There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy and it is subject to change without notice.
